Swingin’
Took a little trip to the park on a rare cloudy weekend in Eden. Mr Plum was sleepy, so he is absent in these pics. Here’s my contribution for SOOC (straight out of the camera):
Magic
This weekend we ventured to a secluded beach in Malibu. It wasn’t particularly simple with the three children, but there were moments of sparkle, and maybe a bit of magic. Here’s my Best Shot Monday:

Help, I’m sitting and I can’t lie down!
Well, Mr. Plum has learned to sit up on his own, with the assistance of the bars in his crib.
Pro: Yeah Mr. Plum! Way to catch up on those developmental milestones, and beat your sister to one for a change.
Con #1: Mr. Plum does not know how to then go BACK to a lying position.
Con #2: Mr. Plum is placed in his crib when he is sleeeeepy … see Con # 1.
I am tired.
Beachy
We went to the beach on Mother’s Day. It was the fruit babies first time in swim gear and their first chance to interact more with the sand and surf. I’d say their review was mixed.

Sightings Update (now with more hints)
Since it seemed that my celeb sightings were quite a hit, I thought I’d update my list for posterity.
First up, Name that Celebrity:

Seen at a little diner in Malibu. I pretended to take pics of the fruit babies and then one of our friends so as not to look, ya know, touristy. (If you’re stumped, I’ll give hints*.)
Seen a few weeks ago was geeky tech David from CSI — the original Las Vegas, not those second rate knock-offs. He was cruising along Ocean Blvd. by the beach in a snappy plaid shirt talking on his phone. Sighting dually witness by Aunt J, even though she had no idea who he was — some how visiting family seems to up my encounters.
Then just after her visit I caught the recently deceased Brad Carlton of Y&R shopping with his significant other at our local Walgreens. They were picking up pre-packaged Easter baskets and pool noodles, perhaps for their own twins.
I suppose my sightings are a bit sudsy, since I then saw Charmed character and soap veteran, Finola Hughes at LAX last weekend. She was hurrying away, but did pause to check out the fruit babes in their carriage and smile.
